Who we are
After spending two decades working for Big Four accounting firms, I decided to start my own consulting firm. I offer deep technical knowledge and experience in a broad range of state and local tax issues within the private credit industry.
During my 20-year professional career, I have advised numerous traditional banking and alternative private lenders on fund tax structuring, planning, and ongoing compliance. I have led state tax compliance projects for credit funds of different sizes, while managing risk and generating tax minimization ideas. I have represented credit fund managers and investors before the state and local tax authorities, filed protests on their behalf, and assisted them with state and local tax notices and audit resolution.
My client portfolio includes foreign sovereigns, pensions, insurance companies, tax exempt and institutional investors, and credit fund managers. My experience spans private credit strategies ranging from direct lending, secondary market loans, liquid credit, and different lending products including middle-market unsecured debt, asset-based lending, infrastructure loans, mezzanine debt, and CLOs, to name a few.
I hold an MBA Degree in Finance & Investments and an MS Degree in Accounting & Taxation from Baruch College, City University of New York, which I completed with highest honors. I am a licensed CPA in the states of New York, Connecticut, and Florida.
